PowerBaum - A semiconductor power analysis software

Project Summary

PowerBaum enables much faster power analysis of a semiconductor design than existing technologies. High-level abstract power models are automatically generated and they can be plugged into conventional simulators such as register transfer level (RTL) or electronic system level (ESL) simulators. In this project, the main focus is on our gate-level power analysis engine named PowerWurzel that cooperates in power model training.

- Evaluated PowerBaum with various customers including Samsung, LG, SK Hyunix, ZTE, Telechips, Abov, and so on.
- PowerBaum has been released in 2017
- Completed the first round of funding led by K Cube ventures in 2017
