(2) Project
- In order to meet the market needs for security on identity theft on fingerprint card, Real iDentity is implementing its Liveness Detecting technologies on the fingerprint card.
- Real iDentity has two kinds of technologies, S/W and H/W based. There are some limitations for the resources of card so Real iDentity is applying H/W technology on the card system to work as planned.

Business Model
Real iDentity’s main business is to develop and provide algorithms to judge if a fingerprint is real or fake. In order to determine this, Real iDentity has finished to develop “Fluid Recognition Technology” which detects fingerprint’s sweat (so called “Micro Sweat”). This algorithm is implemented to a fingerprint’s sensor then this sensor can detect the liveness of finger.

Real iDentity is also developing hardware based Liveness Detecting Technology using a body impedance. Real iDentity is currently developing EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopic) sensor to detect its impedance so the sensor can determine if it is a part of human body or material of fake fingerprint.

Real iDentity is promoting these technologies to fingerprint sensor and module manufacturers to improve their sensors’ security using liveness detection technology.

Unlike other fingerprint detection algorithms, Real iDentity’s algorithm is developed to enhance security performance just by implementing Fluid Recognition Algorithm (S/W) without replacing current Fingerprint Sensor.

Fluid Recognition Technology is developed by Real iDentity so there is no royalty to pay. 5 patents are registered and 35 applications are pending for reviewing in Korean Patent Government. Our technology is selected as NET(New Excellent Technology) certificate by Korean Government.

We have competitive advantages than other companies which have fingerprint algorithms in terms of an accuracy of the detection of liveness. Real iDentity have the liveness detection solutions both in software and hardware which others don’t. Also it is very innovative not replacing current fingerprint sensors but upgrading its firmware to improve its security for fake fingerprints.
